A home should feel
like yourself.
Thoughtful interiors, familiar objects, and room for life to happen. An independent practice by Camille Hayes.
A quieter kind of living
Good rooms aren’t finished.
They’re lived in.
I work with a small number of clients, finding the balance between what a space needs and what makes it yours. Old wood. Good light. Something unexpected.
A note on collecting01
Start with what you reach for. The chipped bowl, the generous chair, the painting that followed you through three apartments. A room grows more interesting when it holds things with a past.
How we work together02
An initial conversation, a walk through your home, and a clear proposal. I take on whole-home interiors and a handful of smaller room studies each year. Each commission is personal, from the first sketch to the last object.
